A tyranny of incompetence
I don’t care about Glenn Beck’s show, he really is a dunce. Too biased but pretends to have a balanced perspective and talks to his audience like an ignorant high school teacher. At least he made the move from CNN and is where he belongs. But its for the money. He, at least, is smart enough to know the show format that gives himself the best opportunity to “make money” like that whore Blago in Illinois. I watched this video portion simply because of the topic and the guests. I would prefer to simply listen to the guests only and that GB has a nack for not adding anything substantive to the conversation. Its really odd to watch him interact with his guests. Its as if he is talking about something else and never really gets the essence of his own guest’s opinions. Its his only real talent.
However, in this video Michael Scheuer is on and states we have tyranny but it is of incompetence, not just the current administration but most previous ones. We would have to go back to before Lincoln to find a reasonably decent presidency. The scenario discussed is plausible and some alternate closely related version will probably be the reality, but GB presents this as its something new and never pondered about, but perhaps it is so to his audience. The title of the program is “Media and The CIA Predict The Next American Revolution, Rebellion and Resistance by 2014”. Enjoy.
The type of revolution is unclear but its been one I’ve felt coming since right around the time Clinton was first elected. There are similiarities and reactionary responses typical in such a shift in power like gun ownership increases and people fear the 4th Amendment will further erode etc. But consistency among the electorate is a little overrated. If only people would have listened and understood the framers, the right steps could have been taken to avoid this kind of talk and crisis.
Of course the Republican’s cry out that the sky is falling only because the Dems are in power. However, them being in power wouldn’t be as damaging as it is if it weren’t for the last 8 years of unchecked growth in power of the executive branch.
Yes, I suspect that eventually the taxpayer will revolt.
“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” Thomas Jefferson
The time is overdue to refresh that tree. IF enough U.S. taxpayers simply quit paying taxes and force a repudiation of the debt, tear up the constitution that tacitly endorsed this tyranny, and truly limit the power of a federal bureaucracy, it can be done.
People so invested in the dogmatic betrayal of modern Americanized liberal and conservative “feelings” need to come to grips and eliminate such a scourge of propaganda.
Citizens of a modern democracy must be left alone to pursue happiness so that we can come to the aid of one another and flourish as a society. A central government with either Bush or Obama at its head is not needed for that. Tomfoolery such as this must be eradicated.
