What is needed.

I came across the article, “A Sad Anniversary for France: Turgot’s Dismissal in 1776”.

Apparently,

He had a great sense of duty, freedom, and civilization. Turgot was too successful, so to speak, in his economic reforms and in the fiscal discipline he imposed on the finances of the French Crown.

The most interesting comment and one that is strikingly useful today is:

If Louis XVI had trusted his Minister of Finance to the end, it is likely that the French Revolution would not have taken place.

We need a Turgot instead of Geithner or Bernanke. Someone to lead the U.S. away from absurdity. And if followed might just be enough to avoid a revolution. But as I hear from lemmings about war as they state that sometimes wars are necessary then fine, I would say that likewise sometimes revolutions are necessary and are a free market answer to obtuse politicians and over reaching central authority.
