Post VP debate analysis: a brief
I would say tonight’s debate was a win for the Obama camp.
Palin didn’t do as bad as expected but the bar was effectively pretty low so the decent effort Palin had was enough to cover the point spread here. But this is a bit funny.

There were a couple gaffs but the biggest difference is as follows. Because the McCain camp is dumber and carrying a handicap in Palin they will spend the next several days up to the debate on Tuesday, between Obama and McCain, preparing for the debate they lost tonight. In other words they will try to respond “better” than they did tonight during the next debate.
However, with a win tonight the Obama camp will level new attacks against McCain who will be unprepared because too much time will have been spent defending the positions they lost on during tonight’s debate.
This would be the successful strategy a smarter Obama camp should employ and it is only because of the handicap Palin represents and McCain’s inherent flaws that paves this road.
Otherwise there was not much else to report on this one.
