All I once held dear...
I have counted lost.
When Reagan announced he was at the twilight of his years, he really symbolized this nation. Not in ways the so-called reagan conservatives prefer of course. But this nation, the U.S., is currently on a path of destruction. After wrecking the middle east the economic collapse that awaits the citizenry is unfolding.
After the last 8 years what can we expect. The stupid Bush administration arrived like a caravan of merchants with everything bountiful, plush, and green. When they leave everything is beaten, down-trodden and bare.
Each successive administration is worse than the last. The next administration will have little control of events. McCain will care little as he relishes in his own glory of achieving the zenith in his career as a selfish bastard. Obama will despair in his own message of hope and incompetence of situational awareness.
I have counted lost the generations of Americans that understood the purpose of a real limited government. Currently, in the minority, few people understand the necessity of a small powerless central government. As more immigrants have piled into the US over the 20th century they brought with them a sense that government has its place. A need to empower and so on. And as more recent generations of American born citizens care less about an encroaching central government the appreciation of its historical roots is lost in perpetuity.
One can not teach these immigrants or natural born citizens that government does not enable or empower but only impedes and prevents. This is a sentiment that is lost among even the greatest minds. We are about to experience a fatal overdose of government. Like a drug addict with a built up tolerance that needs to take more to achieve the same effect, citizens will cry out for more government.
Little can be done as once again I stand with the minority of people who feel this way. It will be too late to wait for the multitudes to be instigated to do away with these vicious politicians that wreck the spirit of the founding generations who were also confused but were at least off to a good start when it began.
Remember a majority of people were supportive of the Iraq incursion, but now the supporters are in the minority. This realization came too little too late of course since the damage was done. Once again it will be too little too late to wait for people to realize this nation will be undone.
While we waited on the sidelines to see the rest of the world get wrecked. The rest of the world will watch as Americans become penniless and destitute.
