Afghanistan was a fool’s mission. Destined for failure. Firing McChrystal makes no difference. People that supported Bush will have there reason for failure. Now they make comparisons to Vietnam, the dumb notion about politicians not letting the military prosecute a war on their terms. It was a notion born out of the Vietnam failure. Only believed by those who didn’t understand it then as they do not today an opinion that all the history and perspective can not defeat.
