Hannity mishap

When driving in the car in the afternoon I’ll occasionally flip channels from sports talk to news talk. Yesterday I heard Hannity berate a caller as he usually does. Again, I find it incredible how such a mediocre personality like him rises to such popularity. But in any case, the immature lightweight that he is makes at best continual sophist like arguments, its all rather tiring to listen to because its always the same thing. In any case he berates the caller by telling her she suffers from government derangement syndrome.

So he makes this title up thinking its a legitimate claim. I remember Krauthammer coined something called Bush Derangement Syndrome to which he gave a description which was used appropriately but never the less it all was rather specious.

So Hannity is not aware of the beginnings of part of the title or forgets and misuses it here with the caller.

For Krauthammer, the title was in reference basically for people that hate Bush. So therefore, to say that someone suffers from Government DS would mean they hate the government which is what Hannity pretends to maintain, only when Republicans are not in charge of it. And misuses it here in such a way that has no meaning at all but is suggested by Hannity in this alternate use to mean that people are deranged because of their belief in government?
